Food with Flair was founded in 1982, and has been family-run ever since. Today, 3 generations of the family are involved with catering events.

Food with Flair operates a kitchen and storage space in Valley Junction, West Des Moines, Iowa. All of the food for events in the metro and at Tuscany Event Center is prepared and stored in this facility.
Yes, Food with Flair is state health inspected, licensed, and insured.
We require a $1,000 deposit for larger events in order to hold your event date. The deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to your catering bill.

It's best for you to contact us by phone at 515-277-7775 or email at events@foodwithflair.com. It would be helpful for you to fill out our request form before contacting us, so we have all of the details for your event.
The earlier you contact us the better, so we are able to properly assist with every necessary aspect of your event. Usually for simple events or lunch deliveries, a couple of days notice is sufficient.

Food with Flair does provide tastings periodically by special request.
The charges for meals will vary greatly based on the items you select and the type of service needed. Please contact us for a quote based on your individual event details. Charges will include staff service fees, linen and serveware rentals, and decor.

Yes, we do allow requests for special menus for various reasons on a individual basis. We will work with you to ensure that all of your needs for the menu for your event are met.
